Partnership

The partnership programmes of the Ukrainian Council of Defence Industry are designed for companies, institutions and organisations that want to become systemic partners of Ukraine's private defence industry.

We bring together business, international organisations, investors, the expert community and defence technology manufacturers in joint projects and long-term initiatives aimed at developing the industry, strengthening international cooperation and scaling Ukrainian defence capabilities.

Partnership programmes

Support for the systematic development of private defence manufacturers — from creating a product to scaling production and entering international markets.

The programme includes training formats, workshops and the involvement of partners and experts according to company needs at different stages: R&D, small-batch production, scaling, export and international cooperation.

Key stages:

Product creation / R&D

Shaping the idea and prototype, testing the product, collecting feedback from the military, setting up the R&D process, basic legal and operational setup of the company, preparing the product for production.

Small-batch production

Setting up production processes, managing defence projects, planning production and logistics, quality control systems, preparing to fulfil state contracts.

Scaling production

Shaping the company's development strategy, preparing investment projects, working with grant programmes and funds, strengthening management capacity, protecting technologies and intellectual property.

Export and international markets

Preparing for international cooperation, complying with defence export procedures, working with international defence companies, preparing proposals for foreign customers, entering international markets.

Engaging youth, universities and student communities in the Ukrainian defence sector. The programme helps future engineers better understand career opportunities in the defence industry, whilst helping manufacturers find students, young specialists and teams for specific requests.

Supporting private defence sector enterprises in matters of physical, information, reputational and cybersecurity. This area is aimed at strengthening the resilience of manufacturers, protecting technologies, managing risks and ensuring the readiness of companies for crisis situations in conditions of war and international cooperation.
